By Komodo National Park Fee Editorial Desk

To contact the Komodo National Park Fee desk, use WhatsApp +62 811-3823-875 or the email link at the foot of this page. The desk answers questions about published fee figures and takes corrections and trip requests. It cannot issue park tickets, hold quota or take ticket payments, so ticket problems belong with the park authority.

Who should you contact?

Most messages go faster when they reach the right place first. This site is an English-language guide with a request desk. The park itself is a government unit, and UNESCO's listing describes it as managed by Indonesia's central government. The two have no shared inbox, and we cannot see your SiOra account, your payment or your ticket.

What can the desk help with?

The desk works from the same public pages this guide cites. In practice it can do the following:

  • Tell you which official or third-party page a figure came from, and the month it was checked.
  • Explain where two sources disagree and what each one says, without picking a side when the evidence does not support one.
  • Look at the lines on a quote you received and say which of them appear on the park's published tariff and which do not. A request through the desk can end in a paid booking, so treat its reading of another seller's quote as interested.
  • Point you to the right guide page, such as the Komodo park entrance fee overview, how to check the fee yourself or the fee FAQ.
  • Receive a request for a trip and reply with what can be offered.

Requests through the desk can lead to a paid booking, so we have a commercial interest. You should weigh what we say with that in mind, and the about page and the disclaimer explain the set-up in more detail.

It helps to be equally clear about the limits. The desk does not sell park tickets. It holds no quota and cannot release a sold-out date. It does not collect ticket money on the park's behalf and does not speak for the park authority. It cannot promise that a refund will be granted, a permit approved, a sailing allowed or a date kept open, because those decisions belong to government offices.

A related question is whether anyone can show you a verified agent. siora.id has a travel agent list page, but it was blank on 3 November 2026 apart from the words Coming Soon. So that page could not, on that date, confirm any agent at all, this desk included. If someone tells you they are officially listed, ask them to show you where.

When should you contact the Komodo National Park Fee desk, and when the park authority?

Go to us for questions about information. Go to the park for anything that changes your ticket, your access or your money. The park authority publishes its own details on its tariff page, which we repeat here for reference only. We do not answer for that line, and you should confirm it from the park's own site before you share anything through it.

The number appears twice in official material: as a WhatsApp line on the park's site, and as the park call centre in a ministry release from January 2026. That release also describes the closure process: BMKG issues the weather warning, the port authority KSOP controls sailing permits, and the park authority posts updates on Instagram. A closure question therefore has a clear first stop, and it is not this site.

For anything inside the system, siora.id is the place to look. Its menu shows Quota Information, SIMAKSI, Komodo Reservation and TA/TO Information. If you are already in Labuan Bajo and have a signal problem, a circular reported on a forestry ministry site asked visitors to reserve no later than the day before because signal inside the park is weak, and it says self-service reservation points were provided at the park office's Komodo Visitor Centre and at the KP3 port terminal. Check that those points still operate before relying on them.

Before you ask about getting money back, read the poster's wording. It states that purchased tickets cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable. Our page on refunds and closures sets that beside the other reports, but only the park can rule on your case.

What should you include in a message?

A complete first message saves a round of questions. Include what applies to you.

  • A question about a figure: the page address, the line you mean, and your visit date.
  • A question about what you would pay: visitor type (foreign or Indonesian, since the poster separates them), the number of people, and the number of days.
  • A quote you want read: the wording of each line, with the company's name removed if you prefer.
  • A trip request: your dates, how flexible they are, group size, and what you have already booked. Dates come first, because the park's daily limit can decide the rest.
  • A correction: the items listed in the next section.

Leave out what we do not need. Please do not send passport scans, card numbers, or your e-ticket QR code in a first message. If an offer later requires personal details, the written offer and the company named in it will tell you who needs them and why.

How are corrections handled?

Corrections are welcome from anyone, and sending one does not require a booking. A useful report gives the page address, the exact sentence or table row, what you believe is correct, and a link to the source that shows it, ideally an official page.

Sources rank in the order the about page gives: published regulations first, then the park authority's own pages, then ministries. Press reports of official statements come next and are attributed to the outlet. A dated official announcement reported by the press can outrank undated page text, and the page says when that happens. Operator pages are labelled as operator figures and are never presented as official. If your source conflicts with one already cited and neither clearly replaces the other, the page should state both and say who claims what.

Each fee row carries its source and check month. Other facts name their source, and the source list on each page links to it, so an old figure can be replaced when a newer official page exists. Operators who see their own published figure misquoted can use the same route. Please do not ask us to remove a conflict between sources, since telling readers about it is part of the job.

What happens after you send a request?

You get an answer, not a commitment. If you asked a factual question, the reply points to the source. If you asked about a trip, the desk tells you what it can offer. Any fee, the price and the company that would contract with you are then stated in writing in an offer before you agree to anything. This website is not a contracting party, and a chat message saying a date looks possible does not reserve anything, and the desk cannot reserve a park ticket. A written offer names the company responsible.

If what the park tells you differs from what this site says, follow the park and let us know, so the page can be fixed.

What do people ask before they get in touch?

Who do I ask about the Komodo National Park fee?

For the meaning or source of a published figure, ask this desk. For your own ticket, a payment problem, a refund or a closure, ask the park authority, because only it can act on those. The table at the top of this page sorts the common cases.

Can the desk issue a Komodo National Park ticket?

No. The desk does not issue tickets, hold quota or take ticket payments. Tickets are issued through the SiOra system.

How do I contact the Komodo National Park authority?

The park's site lists an office on Jalan Kasimo in Labuan Bajo, a WhatsApp number and an email address, all shown above. The ministry's January 2026 release gives that number as the park call centre too. Closure updates are posted on the Instagram account @btn.komodo.

How do I report a wrong Komodo fee figure?

Send the page address, the sentence or row, the figure you believe is right, and a link to the source to this desk by WhatsApp or email. A link to an official page is the most useful. You do not need to book anything.

Does the Komodo park authority have a WhatsApp number?

Yes. The park's site publishes +62 811-3829-0000 as a WhatsApp line. This site does not answer for that number, so confirm it from the park's own page before you share personal details through it.
